MODAL SILK FABRIC

Modal silk is a cellulosic fabric based on beech wood pulp. The producers spin beech wood pulps to turn them into soft threads and then weave them to make the modal silk fabric.

How natural or synthetic is modal silk?
Modal silk is wholly natural, biodegradable, and sustainable. It is made from the wood pulp of renewable beech trees.

POLY CHIFFON

Polyester Chiffon Fabric is a sheer supple material that is as strong as it is soft. Chiffon Fabric is made using a plain weave, meaning the warp and weft yarns are woven into a basic crisscross formation.


MATTE CREPE

Crepe matte fabric is a type of textile characterized by its grainy, slightly crinkled surface and lack of sheen. It is typically made from a variety of fibers, including silk, wool, polyester, or blends, and is known for its lightweight, breathable nature. The fabric's distinct texture is created through a special weaving process or by using highly twisted yarns. Crepe matte fabric drapes well, resists wrinkles, and is often used in fashion for garments like dresses, blouses, and skirts, as well as for home décor items such as curtains and tablecloths.

USA: We ship orders via USPS.

We ship US orders from within the USA 3 times a week, on Mondays, Wednesdays and Saturdays.

Please note that orders shipped by courier may be subject to duties, fees or taxes levied by the destination country and/or shipping company.

We ship internationally with IMEX. If the order is high value, we will use a courier (DHL, Aramex).

International orders are shipped 3 times a week, on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays.

In general, custom printed (made on demand) orders are non-refundable since they cannot be resold. If there is an issue with your order we will be happy to work with you to come to a solution.

Cancellations
If there is an error with your order you can cancel the order within 12 hours of placing it. Once an order has started production we can no longer make changes to it or cancel it.

Care

Reactive inks are permanent.
Due to some residual ink from the print process, for first washing wash alone with a full load setting in cold water. Add a mild detergent, 1 cup vinegar and 2 tsp salt. For future washes, machine wash cold water with a phosphate free detergent. Add a mild fabric softener to enhance softness and drape.

Machine dry on low heat or hang to dry.
Iron on silk setting (delicate) with low steam.
Expect some shrinking: 1% in width and length
